Aluminum silicate fiber and preparation method thereof
The invention provides an aluminum silicate fiber including 10 wt%-40 wt% of Al2O3, 30 wt%-80 wt% of SiO2, 0-5 wt% of Na2O, 0-5 wt% of K2O, 0-5 wt% of CaO, 0-5 wt% of MgO, 0-5 wt% of Fe2O3 and 0-5 wt% of TiO2. A kaolinite rock clinker is directly used as a raw material and subjected to melting and fiber formation treatment to obtain the aluminum silicate fiber; the aluminum silicate fiber not only can be used at the temperature of 600 DEG C-1000 DEG C and can meet thermal insulation and heat preservation requirements in electric power, petrochemical engineering, metallurgy and other most fields, but also can replace flint clay and coal gangue for use; and sources of the raw materials are wide, and the cost is relatively low.
