The invention provides a green assembly type building wallboard and a preparation method thereof. The building wallboard is formed by compounding an outer panel, an outer skeleton, a heat-preserving plate, an inner skeleton and an inner panel in sequence; an outer lightweight core layer is arranged between the outer panel and the outer skeleton; an inner lightweight core layer is arranged between the inner panel and the inner skeleton; the outer panel and the outer lightweight core layer as well as the inner panel and the inner lightweight core layer are bonded together through bonding mortar; the outer panel and the outer skeleton as well as the inner panel and the inner skeleton are connected together through a bolt. The preparation method of the building wallboard comprises the following steps: prefabricating the outer skeleton and the inner skeleton; arranging a glass fiber anchor on the heat-preserving plate; mounting the heat-preserving plate between the outer skeleton and the inner skeleton; connecting the inner panel with the inner skeleton through the bolt; forming the inner lightweight core layer; forming the outer lightweight core layer and connecting the outer panel with the outer skeleton through the bolt.
