The invention relates to an energy-saving environment-friendly building material which is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 12-20 parts of sepiolite, 2-10 parts of sodium chloride, 10-20 parts of thermoplastic resin, 2-5 parts of chrysalidocarpus lutescens bits, 3-7 parts of grevillea robusta bits, 2-5 parts of a wetting agent, 8-11 parts of furfuryl alcohol resin, 10-25 parts of plant material powder, 4-8 parts of ceramic powder, 1.5-3 parts of glass fiber, 3-6 parts of a wetting dispersant, 6-12 parts of chlorosulfonated polyethylene and 8-17 parts of styrene. The energy-saving environment-friendly building material provided by the invention has the beneficial effects that the energy-saving environment-friendly building material is excellent in shockproof, wormproof, heat-preserving and heat-isolating properties, the cost is hugely lowered in the using process, and the energy-saving environment-friendly building material is extremely excellent in energy-saving effect and free of environmental pollution.
