The invention discloses an energy-saving environment-friendly light building material, which comprises a renewable raw material, a functional raw material, an auxiliary agent and water, and the renewable raw material comprises 10-20 parts of straw fiber, 12-30 parts of waste paper fiber and 20-40 parts of waste clothes fiber; the functional raw materials comprise 16-25 parts of metakaolin, 20-28 parts of superfine mineral powder, 20-35 parts of waste concrete particles, 12-18 parts of fine quartz sand and 6-8 parts of glass powder; the auxiliary agent comprises 12-16 parts of sodium silicate, 0.5-1 part of silicon dioxide aerogel and 1-3 parts of a water reducing agent; and 13 to 17 parts of water. The energy-saving environment-friendly light building material adopting the structure solves the problems of loose texture, poor hardness and low compressive strength of an environment-friendly light building material in the prior art.
