Fire retardant coating and preparation method thereof
The invention discloses a fire retardant coating which is characterized by consisting of the following components in parts by mass: 1000-2000 parts of water, 0.3-0.6 part of boric acid, 1000-2000 parts of sodium silicate, 10-50 parts of bentonite, 10-50 parts of kaolin, 100-300 parts of talcum powder, 3-10 parts of aluminum hydroxide and 10-50 parts of polymeric aluminum phosphate. The fire retardant coating disclosed by the invention is simple in component and low in cost; the fire retardant coating, smeared on the core board of a reinforced foam cement fire door, can be used for improving the heat-insulating property of the foam cement fire door core board, so that the fire rating of a steel fire door manufactured from the foam cement fire door core board can achieve A1; meanwhile, the intensity of the foam cement fire door core board can be also improved, so that the anti-bending intensity of the foam cement fire door core board can be improved to 0.5-0.7MPa from 0.2-0.4MPa; therefore, the loss rate of the foam cement fire door core board in a process of producing the fire door can be reduced; and the fire retardant coating is suitable for popularization and application.
