The invention relates to a high-purity forsterite brick for a glass furnace regenerative chamber. The forsterite brick consists of the following components in formula: 0-20% of high-purity olivine sand of 5-3mm, 10-30% of high-purity olivine sand of 3-1mm, 10-20% of high-purity olivine sand of 1-0mm, 25-35% of high-purity olivine sand less than 0.088mm, 10-20% of high-purity magnesium sand less than 0.088mm and 1.5-3.5% of an additive magnesium lignosulfonate binding agent. The forsterite brick disclosed by the invention is excellent in high-temperature resistance, atmosphere change fastness and erosion resistance.
