The invention provides a production method of a moisture-absorbing silicone rubber spacing bar and the moisture-absorbing silicone rubber spacing bar. The moisture-absorbing silicone rubber spacing bar comprises a spacing bar body, wherein main body ventilating silicone rubber and U-shaped outer coating closed silicone rubber are arranged at the inner part and the outer part of the spacing bar body respectively, the main body ventilating silicone rubber is coated with the U-shaped outer coating closed silicone rubber, a ventilating groove is formed in one side surface of the U-shaped outer coating closed silicone rubber, and the main body ventilating silicone rubber is contacted with the outside through the ventilating groove. The spacing bar body is adopted, zeolite powder is added to the main body ventilating silicone rubber, and the main body ventilating silicone rubber can only absorb moisture between two pieces of glass when the spacing bar body is arranged between the two pieces of glass; a coupling agent is used in the U-shaped outer coating closed silicone rubber, so that the strength and workability of the spacing bar body can be improved, and the moisture-absorbing silicone rubber spacing bar has the advantages of good heat insulation performance, low heat transfer coefficient, long service life, elasticity, low probability of breakage, high production efficiency, low production cost and the like.
