The invention discloses a steel rail fastener. The steel rail fastener comprises a rail bearing, wherein a steel rail elastic strip is mounted on the upper surface of the rail bearing, the lower surface of the steel rail elastic strip is embedded in the rail bearing, and a shock absorbing steel sheet is mounted at a connecting position of the steel rail elastic strip and the rail bearing in a sealing manner; rail supporting plates are mounted on the upper surface of the steel rail elastic strip, close to two side surfaces respectively and are fixed on the steel rail elastic strip, each of the steel rail outside screw spikes is mounted on the outer side of each of the rail supporting plates, and each of the rail supporting plates and each of the steel rail elastic strip are fixed together through each of the steel rail outside screw spikes; each of screw columns is vertically mounted on each of the rail supporting plates, the bottom of each of the screw columns penetrates through the steel rail elastic strip and is connected with the rail bearing, and each of gauge baffles is arranged on the inner side surface of each of the two rail supporting plates. The steel rail fastener can well solve the problems that fastening operation of the steel rail fastener is low in operating efficiency and unstable in structure during laying steel rails with a conventional rail layer group, so that a bearing strength is enhanced, a deviation phenomenon is avoided, a limiting effect is obvious, the steel rail elastic strip is not easy to become loose or fall off, interval time of maintaining the rails is prolonged, and the workload of maintaining the rails is reduced.
