The invention discloses a winding barrel of a cable winding machine and relates to the technical field of cable winding equipment. The winding barrel comprises two annular lining plates and a plurality of axial connection rods, wherein each annular lining plate is formed by two arc side plates and provided with a central hole, the axial connection rods are penetratingly mounted between the two annular lining plates, a rolling shaft with a positioning table is mounted between two annular lining plates, an outer stop plate, a front positioning ring, a rear positioning ring, a tensioning nut and a positioning nut in crimped connection with the tensioning nut are penetratingly mounted on one side, with the positioning table, of the rolling shaft, a plurality of rubber friction rings are arranged between the front positioning ring and the rear positioning rod, one end of the rolling shaft is mounted in a slideway of an adjusting plate via a slider, the adjusting plate is fixed on one of the annular lining plate, the other end of the rolling shaft is fixed on a support frame, and the support frame is fixed on the other annular lining plate. Compared with the prior art, the winding barrel of the cable winding machine has the advantage that the problem of poor stability in cable winding quality can be solved.
