The invention discloses a long-distance multi-span welding H-section steel roof beam installation method, which comprises the following construction steps of: 1, installing steel posts and setting a safety device; 2, selecting a crane and a station position according to the length and the weight of roof beams; 3, pairing the roof beams on the ground; and 4, installing the roof beams. The method has the advantages that the number of high-altitude installation operation times of the roof beams is reduced; the high-altitude operation risk of construction workers is reduced; the problem of temporary support erecting during the roof beam installation is solved; the potential safety hazards of high-altitude operation is eliminated; the selected device is economic and reasonable; the construction cost is reduced; and the construction period of the engineering is saved.
