Method of using Nixing pottery to make musical instrument
The invention provides a method of using Nixing pottery to make a musical instrument. The method includes the steps of blank material preparing, blank forming, blank drying and blank firing. Blank material preparing includes the following steps: 1), using east mud and west mud to make a Nixing pottery mud material according to a conventional method; 2), grinding kaolin to be slurry through a ball grinder, and obtaining a kaolin mud material through press filtering, vacuum mud refining and staling; 3), adding the kaolin mud material and phosphate into the Nixing pottery mud material, and mixing well to obtain the blank material, wherein adding amount of the kaolin mud material is 6-8% of weight of the Nixing pottery mud material, and adding amount of phosphate is 0.1-0.5% of the weight of the Nixing pottery mud material. The musical instrument made by the Nixing pottery is clear and melodious in knocking sound and capable of being on a par with musical instruments made by ceramic in tone.
