The invention provides a hydraulic power unit for a subway grinding car. The hydraulic power unit comprises a mounting bracket fixed on a car rack of the subway grinding car, wherein the mounting bracket is a stepped bracket formed by the fixed connection of a left bracket and a right bracket; an electric motor is arranged on the bottom surface of the left bracket; an output shaft of the electric motor is connected with a hydraulic oil pump through a flange; an energy accumulator and a control valve block are arranged at the middle part of the left bracket; a radiator is arranged at the upper part of the left bracket; a hydraulic oil tank is arranged on the upper end surface of the right bracket; an electrical control box is arranged on one side of the hydraulic oil tank; a reset motor oil pump is arranged at the inner part of the right bracket. The hydraulic power unit disclosed by the invention is formed by connecting the hydraulic oil tank, the hydraulic oil pump, the control valve block, the radiator and the like through hydraulic hoses, and the hydraulic power unit can accurately control the subway grinding car in a standard manner so as to meet multi-function requirements, such as multiple actions, combined actions and fault resetting, so that the quality of grinding subway steel rails is effectively guaranteed; the hydraulic power unit is compact and practical in structure.
