The invention relates to equipment used for stalactite formation and a method enabling stalactite formation by means of the equipment. The equipment enabling stalactite formation comprises air-heaters, a framework and a batching tower installed on the framework, the framework is composed of an intermediate support post and multiple shape racks at the periphery, the support post and the shape racks are fixedly connected through supports, an integral structure of the shape racks is provided with irregular protrusions from top to bottom, and a certain gap is reserved between every two shape racks. The method enabling stalactite formation by means of the equipment comprises the steps of placing calcium bicarbonate, cement, coagulating agents and coloring agents in the batching tower, adding in water, and starting a blender for stirring till pulp is uniform; making the pulp flow out of a through hole at the bottom of the batching tower and flow down along the tops of the shape racks, meanwhile, starting the air-heaters, and maintaining the temperature of hot air within the range from 40 DEG C to 100 DEG C. By means of the equipment used for stalactite formation and the stalactite formation method, plenty of time, manpower and material resources are saved, and the operation is simple.
