The parepartion method of the desulfurized gypsum board comprises the steps that the desulfurized gypsum is modified through the phenolic resin firstly, and then thermo-compression formation is conducted on the modified desulfurized gypsum dry powder for 1 min to 5 min in the state that the pressure ranges from 5 MPa to 20 MPa, and the temperature ranges from 90 DEG C to 200 DEG C; finally, the molded desulfurized gypsum board is soaked into the polymer emulsion for 10 min to 120 min, and the soaking temperature ranges from 25 DEG C to 70 DEG C. The desulfurized gypsum board is excellent in compressive strength, in breaking strength and in water-resistant performance.
