The invention discloses a multifunctional diatom wall material which is a multifunctional diatom wall material coating with the functions of indoor bacteria resistance, radiation prevention, formaldehyde degradation and humidity adjustment. The wall material is prepared from the following components in percentage by weight: 21-29% of diatomite, 10-30% of fine silica, 10-25% of kaolin, 2.5-3.5% of nano ceramic crystal, 7-8.5% of bentonite, 3-5% of attapulgite, 12-17% of ground calcium carbonate, 8-12% of nano titanium dioxide, 3-6% of nano zinc oxide, 3-5% of white lime and 3-7% of anion powder. The wall material disclosed by the invention has the functions of adsorbing toxic and harmful gases, resisting bacteria, preventing radiation and degrading formaldehyde; and due to the diatom ooze, the product has strong characteristics of breathing humidity adjustment and air purification as well as the functions of preventing fire and retarding flame, insulating sound and reducing noise and insulating heat. The multifunctional diatom wall material is an ideal wall decoration material integrating environmental protection function and artistic modeling.
