Colored porcelain and preparation method thereof
The invention discloses a preparation method of colored porcelain. The product of colored porcelain is prepared by the processes of slurry making, clay making, glaze making, moulding, glazing, drying and firing; and the preparation method is characterized in that a toner and a clay material are mixed into color clay, namely a green body; and then the surface of the green body is coated with a layer of transparent glaze. The invention also discloses colored porcelain prepared by the method, wherein the colored porcelain comprises the color clay and a glaze material coating the surface of the color clay; the glaze material is transparent glaze; the color clay comprises the toner and a clay material; and the toner contains pigments. Compared with traditional colored glaze porcelain, the colored porcelain provided by the invention has the following advantages: (1) the density is high and the water absorption is low; (2) the thermal stability is good; (3) the surface gloss is good, bright and gentle; (4) the surface does not fade easily; and (5) the production technology is mature and suitable for industrial production.
