The invention discloses a method for preparing nano-composite YBCO (yttrium barium copper oxide) superconducting blocks through a powder melting-liquid infiltrating combined way. The method comprises the steps of mixed powder preparation, predecessor block pressing, predecessor block assembling, high temperature heat treatment and oxygen permeation treatment. A mixture of a Y2O3 nanometer powder and initial powders of BaO, CuO, and CeO2 is used for preparing a solid phase block through pressing, a mixture of a Y2O3 nanometer powder and the initial powders of BaO and CuO is used for preparing a liquid phase block through pressing, during high temperature heat treatment, powder melting occurs in the blank blocks at the same time, and liquid phase from the liquid phase block permeates to the solid phase block, so that the method is characterized in that powder melting and liquid infiltration coexist. In addition, in the method, any precursor powder is not required, the process is simple and the efficiency is high. Through the use of the Y2O3 nanometer powder, nanoscale Y2BaCuO5 particles are introduced into samples successfully, and the superconducting properties of the blocks are ensured. The method provided by the invention also can be used for preparing other series of nano-composite superconducting bulk materials such as Nd, Sm, Gd and the like.
