A floating garbage collection device comprises a hull (1), a garbage collecting and containing device (2) is arranged in the front of the hull, an automatic driving device (3) and a positioning chip (4) are installed on the hull, a video device (5) and an analysis device (6) are arranged at the front end of the hull, when the hull runs, the video device (5) scans and acquires water surface video in the front, the analysis device (6) analyzes whether garbage exists or not, and if the garbage exists, the automatic driving device (3) is controlled to drive the hull to the corresponding position to conduct garbage collecting; the positioning chip (4) ensures that the the hull can not touch obstacles such as shore bases; a remote transmission module (7) is arranged, and the analysis device (6) can uploads main video information to a management center (8) for analysis; the garbage collecting and containing device (2) is provided with a warning device (9), and when the garbage collecting and containing device is filled up, warning information is sent out. According to the floating garbage collection device, the floating garbage can be found automatically, garbage collecting and containing are achieved through automatic driving, when garbage collecting and containing are completed, prompting is conducted automatically, and the efficiency of garbage collecting and containing is improved.
