The invention discloses a whitening agent for a ceramic blank body. The whitening a gent comprises the following materials in parts by weight: 35-40 parts of titanium dioxide, 60-70 parts of aluminium hydroxide, 5-8 parts of kaolin, 12.5-15.5 parts of active micro silicon powder, 2-4 parts of zinc nitrate, 3-4 parts of barium carbonate, 2-4 parts of talc powder, 4-9 parts of aluminium oxide, 7-8 parts of disodium edetate dihydrate, 9-10 parts of sodium hexametaphosphate, 2-7 parts of nickel oxide, 4-7 parts of lithium borohydride and 1-6 parts of magnesium-calcium stone. The whitening agent disclosed by the invention has the advantage that the whitening effect and the antibacterial effect of ceramics are improved.
