The invention provides a carboxylic acid water-reducing agent modified by multiamino fibers and a preparation method thereof. According to the water-reducing agent, prenyl polyethylene glycol, 2-acrylamido-2-methyl-1-propane sulfonic acid, anhydride, acrylic acid and acrylamide are used as the principal raw materials, and an initiator, a pH value regulator, a molecular weight regulator, a reducing agent, sodium phosphate and the multiamino fibers are added to be used as the auxiliaries. The water-reducing agent has the advantages of being good in slump retaining performance, low in blended proportion and excellent in shrinkage resistance capability.
