The invention discloses a method for repairing a hydro-fluctuation belt by means of vegetation, wherein a temporary intercepting ditch is formed in the top of a slope to prevent water from gathering to impact a slope body when it rains. The temporary intercepting ditch is formed in the slope surface, and therefore impact of heavy rainfall on the slope body can be reduced. According to the method, the influences of water level fluctuating on different vegetation types are fully taken into account, and therefore the plant survival rate is improved. The wetland plant species is enriched, and the wetland biodiversity and the structural stability of an ecological system are improved. A degradable plant fibermesh is laid on the slope body of the riverside slope surface, therefore, washing of rain to the slope body can be effectively buffered, and water and soil and vegetation loss of the slope body can be decreased. After the vegetation grows up to form a stronger root system, the plant fibermesh can be degraded automatically, no pollution can be caused to the environment, and needed organic fertilizer can be provided for plant growth. After the hydro-fluctuation belt is repaired for several years, it is observed that the vegetation grows well, and the water and soil loss and environmental pollution are effectively controlled.
