The invention relates to a telescoping hard ladder special for a +/-800kV extra-high voltage direct current line tension tower. The telescoping hard ladder comprises an upper telescoping ladder, a middle pedal and a lower telescoping ladder. The upper telescoping ladder comprises two upper vertical rods located at two sides. The lower ends of the two upper vertical rods are connected with a plurality of upper cross bars in telescoping connection. Two ends of the cross bar located at the lowest end are connected with two sides of one end of the middle pedal through hinging bolts respectively. A ladder withdrawing insulating belt is arranged between the cross bar located at the top end and the middle pedal. The lower telescoping ladder comprises two lower vertical rods located at two sides. The upper ends of the two lower vertical rods are connected with a plurality of lower cross bars in telescoping connection. Two ends of the cross bar located at the top end are connected with two sides of the other end of the middle pedal through hinging bolts respectively. A ladder withdrawing insulating belt is arranged between the cross bar located at the lowest end and the middle pedal. The special multifunctional telescoping hard ladder can adjust the length, can be employed as a hard insulating pedal, can be in bridge connection in a proper length adjusting position between two insulator strings and forms a shifting and positioning station.
