Method and machine for cleaning ballast of a track
Cleaned ballast (10) is discharged in a first sub-quantity (17) upstream of a first tracked chassis (5), relative to a working direction (4), and leveled in order to form a first ballast layer (18). A second sub-quantity (19) of cleaned ballast (10) is discharged behind a subsequent second tracked chassis (5) and leveled in order to form a second ballast layer (20). Thus, neither a subgrade upstream of the first tracked chassis (5) nor the ballast bed is destroyed by a tracked chassis (5).
