The invention relates to a centralized expressway. Motor vehicles run on the centralized expressway. The centralized expressway comprises a road where motor vehicles run. The road comprises at least one traction type lane. Each traction type lane comprises a running pavement and traction devices arranged below the running pavement. Each traction device comprises an inhaul cable, a clamping buckle part or a clamping hook part, a rolling part and a power source. Each inhaul cable extends along the corresponding running pavement. Each clamping buckle part or each clamping hook part is arranged on the corresponding inhaul cable. Each rolling part drives the corresponding inhaul cable to move. Each power source drives the corresponding rolling part to roll. Each clamping buckle part or each clamping hook part can move relative to the corresponding running pavement and stretches out of the corresponding running pavement. The clamping buckle parts or the clamping hook parts retain motor vehicles. The traction type lanes are arranged, motor vehicles are fixed with the clamping buckle parts or the clamping hook parts, and the inhaul cables of the traction type lanes drive the clamping buckle parts or the clamping hook parts to move so as to move motor vehicles connected with the clamping buckle parts or the clamping hook parts, in this way, motor vehicles running on the centralized expressway automatically run without drivers, and the effects of energy conservation and emission reduction are achieved; meanwhile, the occurrence frequency of traffic accidents is reduced.
