A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The present invention provides a shock isolation device which can reduce a tensile force transferred to a stack-up rubber without a plastic deformation of a flange. The shock isolation device (10) includes: the stack-up rubber (12); mounting holes (16), which are mounted on two end faces of the stack-up rubber (12), and are fixed on mounting faces (56,57) via a stationary member (22); and flanges (14A,14B), wherein, at least one slot (24) crossed with a shortest straignth line (L)is formed on the flanges (14A,14B), wherein, the shortest straight line connects the periphery part of the stack-up rubber with the mounting holes (16).
