The invention discloses a tower body of a communication tower. The tower body comprises a pole body and a lightning rod, wherein the pole body comprises an antenna tower section and a main body tower section which are connected through a flange. The tower body has the main technical scheme that the antenna tower section comprises three steel pipes which are fixedly connected into a whole; the three steel pipes are in triangular arrangement; and hoops and pull rod support plates connected with the hoops are arranged on the main body tower section. The tower body has the advantages that the structure is simpler; the antenna tower section is formed by assembling and welding the three steel pipes; the installation of an antenna is more convenient; position-adjustable hoop devices are arranged on the main body tower section, so that the adaptability is higher when the tower body needs to be used as a support device during the base station construction.
