The invention provides a limiting structure and a vehicle door limiting device having the same. The limiting structure includes a shell body; a pair of clamping pads arranged therein, wherein each clamping pad is provided with two contact bodies and a buffer space is formed in each contact body, and the two contact bodies of each clamping pad are respectively contacted with two opposite sides of the shell body; and a pair of elastomers arranged in the shell body, wherein each elastomer is elastically supported between each clamping pad and the shell body respectively. By means of the structure, when the clamping pads are subjected to compression deformation in the shell body, the deformation quantity can be absorbed fully by the buffer space, so that the clamping pads subjected to compression deformation can be smoothly slidingly moved in the shell body, thereby ensuring the smooth property during opening and closing operations of the vehicle door, and further prolonging the service time of the limiting structure.
