A scaffold safety net recovery apparatus and a scaffold safety net recovery method are designed for recycling and reusing scaffold safety nets, and belong to the field of construction safety. The scaffold safety net recovery apparatus is composed of a scaffold safety net (1) and a scaffold safety net recovery unit (2). The scaffold safety net recovery unit (2) is composed of a pedestal (21), a support (22), a roller (23), a main shaft (24), a bearing (25), a rotating wheel (26) and a handle (27). The scaffold safety net (1) is wrapped on the external of the roller (23). During a safety net recovery process, all scaffold safety net hooks (13) are loosened, the rotating wheel (26) is driven to rotate through the rotation of the handle (27), the main shaft (24) drives the roller (23) to rotate, and then scaffold safety net cloth (11) can be recycled to the roller (23). The beneficial effects of the recovery apparatus and the recovery method are that the safety net hung around a scaffold can be recycled and reused, and cost and recourses are saved.
