The invention relates to a carbon fiber forming process. The carbon fiber forming process comprises the following steps of (1) performing burdening, (2) utilizing a non-clogging pump to pump obtained slurry into a forming groove, (3) soaking a mold with holes in a slurry groove, (4) performing forming through vacuum suction filter, (5) performing wet reshaping, (6) performing mold release, (7) performing drying, (8) obtaining products, (9) performing active agent protection, (10) performing surface grinding processing, (11) performing micro screening, (12) performing high-temperature drying and (13) performing package to obtain finished products. The carbon fiber formed by means of the carbon fiber forming process retains much excellent performance of tradition carbon fiber, is thin and small in shape, clean in surface and large in specific surface area, is easily wetted and evenly dispersed by resin, is an excellent-performance composite material filler, can be composited with materials, such as resin, plastic, metal and rubber so as to improve the strength and abrasion resistance of the materials and is already widely applied to all industries and fields.
