Disclosed are a thin wall inner flange C-type steel ground column connecting joint and structure. The connecting joint comprises groove type bodies or a groove type body set and a ground plate, the lower end of the groove type bodies or the groove type body set is connected with the surface of the ground plate, a groove is formed around the end of the groove type bodies or the groove type body set, tooth-shaped gaps or pits parallel to the groove edges are arranged on the groove edges of the groove type bodies, and a square supporting block is arranged in the groove type bodies or the groove type body set and matched with the position of the groove. A gap is arranged at the position, close to the edges of the groove type bodies, of the square supporting block. The connecting structure comprises the joint and thin wall inner flange C-type steel or thin wall inner flange C-type steel sets, the groove type bodies or the groove type body set is sleeved with the thin wall inner flange C-type steel or the thin wall inner flange C-type steel sets, then the thin wall inner flange C-type steel or the thin wall inner flange C-type steel sets are sleeved with packing straps, an inserted section can be firmly fixed through the groove and the tooth-shaped gaps or pits in the joint, and axial twitching is not generated any more. Therefore, a mounted steel structure framework is quite firm.
