The invention discloses a displacement limiting device and method for building slope adjusting jacking. The displacement limiting device comprises a suspension rigid backing frame and a fixing rigid backing frame, wherein the suspension rigid backing frame and the fixing rigid backing frame are arranged on two adjacent buildings respectively and connected into a rigid framework structure through connecting belts. The horizontal and longitudinal displacement of the two buildings is limited and corrected by arranging a counter-force bracket in the rigid frame structure and through the counter force of a stretching cylinder of a jack, and the function of limiting the horizontal and transverse displacement of the two buildings through the limitation of the connecting belts to the counter-force bracket is achieved.
