The invention discloses a limiting mechanism for preventing lateral displacement during building jacking. The limiting mechanism comprises a side arm, lock holes, a fixing part, a fixing hole, a sliding rod and a stable connecting device. According to the limiting mechanism, the stable connecting device is mounted on the inner side of the sliding rod, a sliding block in the stable connecting device can stably slide on the sliding rod, a connecting mechanism is mounted at the top of the sliding block, the connecting mechanism can achieve multi-angle position adjustment, and therefore a lockingplate at the rear end can achieve angle adjustment. The limiting mechanism can be suitable for mounting and fixing the connecting positions of walls at different angles conveniently. The lower end ofa locking plate in the connecting mechanism is connected with a buffering mechanism, vibration generated by shaking and excursion of the walls can be effectively offset in the jacking process, the whole device is prevented from being damaged, the stability is high, and the buffering effect is good.
