The invention discloses a NiCuZn soft magnetic ferrite material and a preparing method thereof. The material comprises main components and doping components. The main components include 47.0-49.0 mol% of Fe2O3, 17.0-30.0 mol% of ZnO, 5.0-12.0 mol% of CuO and the balance NiO. The doping components include the sintering aid Bi2O3, the additive Co2O3 and the additive NbO5, wherein the weight of the sintering aid Bi2O3 is 1.5-3.0% that of the main components, the weight of the additive Co2O3 is 0.2-1.0% that of the main components, and the weight of the additive NbO5 is 0.25-1.0% that of the main components. Due to the fact that a proper amount of Bi2O3 is added to serve as the sintering aid, on the basis that good magnetic performance is guaranteed, low-temperature sintering is achieved at the temperature of 900-920 DEG C; by doping the modifying agent Co2O3 and Nb2O5, the direct-current bias performance is improved.
