The invention relates to a self heat insulation building block for an external wall body. The self heat insulation building block comprises a rectangular casing, wherein tenon grooves are formed in the two adjacent side walls of the rectangular casing; tenon heads are arranged on the other two adjacent side walls; a cavity is arranged in the casing; support plates are arranged in the cavity; the cavity is divided into a group of independent sub cavities by the support plates; a heat insulation plate is arranged in each sub cavity; the casing is formed by 50 percent to 65 percent of high-calcium powder, 0.2 to 0.02 percent of crystallizing agents, 0.1 percent to 0.2 percent of early strength agents, 30 percent to 35 percent of industrial wastes and 15 percent to 20 percent of cement through casting; and the heat insulation plate is manufactured by mixing one or several materials of foam, polystyrene plates or foaming blocks. The self heat insulation building block has the advantages that the construction is convenient; durability is high; the heat insulation effect is good; the solid wastes are comprehensively utilized; the effect of changing wastes into valuables is achieved; the social benefits, the environmental benefits and the economic benefits are great; the building block can be in scale production; and the market requirements can be completely met.
