An upper movable casement material for fixing the upper portion of window glass leans on the lower side of the upper fixing edge rabbet, a lower movable casement material for fixing the lower portion of the window glass leans on the upper side of the lower fixing edge rabbet, the upper fixing edge rabbet comprises an inner upper main pipe with a square inner cavity, an upper buffer blocking rubber strip with an oblique portion is mounted on the lower portion of the inner upper main pipe, and the lower fixing edge rabbet comprises an inner lower main pipe with a square inner cavity. The single-casement side-hung window has the advantages of simple and firm structure, low cost, good sealing effect and long service life.
