The invention provides a multiple pane glass which has: a first glass; a second glass disposed opposing the first glass separated by a predetermined gap; and a sealing material that forms a sealed space between the first glass and second glass by sealing the edge portions of the first glass and second glass. Furthermore, an adsorption material (5) is provided that adsorbs gasses within the sealed space, has a height formed to be no greater than the gap between the first glass and second glass, is adhered to the surface of the first glass within the sealed space, and causes the interior of the sealed space to be in a decompressed state. As a result, it is possible to dispose the adsorption material more easily, and it is possible to provide a high-quality multiple pane glass.
