To solve a problem that the traditional bicycle lock cannot preferably satisfy requirements of the majority of users on bicycle safety, the invention discloses the horseshoe-shaped bicycle license plate lock, which is applicable to standardized management, and the key technique method. The license plate lock mainly comprises a lock head frame, a U-shaped hangtag-shaped key, a lock head part and a horseshoe-shaped lock body part, wherein the lock head frame is provided with a bar code and engraved with partial license plate number; the U-shaped hangtag-shaped key is engraved with partial license plate number; and the lock head part is formed by a slider lock with a tamper-resistant convex strip structure and so on. The key of the license plate lock can be used for unlocking through a pushing and inserting method; meanwhile, the whole license plate number of the bicycle is completed; and the license plate lock is also provided with the bar code containing bicycle information. The horseshoe-shaped bicycle license plate lock provided by the invention is advantaged in that the structure of the lock is conductive to encryption and tamper resistance of the bicycle lock and convenient for the standardized management of the bicycle; and a tamper-resistant problem of the bicycle can be preferably solved.
