The invention discloses a high-strength and good-abrasion-resistance zirconium carbide ceramic material and a preparing method thereof. The high-strength and good-abrasion-resistance zirconium carbide ceramic material comprises, by weight, 16-18 parts of kaolin, 80-95 parts of zirconium carbide, 2-3 parts of tungsten powder, 7-9 parts of black corundum powder, 3-4 parts of stainless steel powder, 6-8 parts of coal ash, 8-12 parts of ceramic waste, 1-3 parts of polysilicic acid ferric sulfate, 2-3 parts of water glass, 6-8 parts of white oil, 3-5 parts of ferro-silicon nitride powder, 1-3 parts of red mud, 1-2 parts of molybdenum disilicide, 2-4 parts of polyvinyl alcohol, 0.5-0.8 part of potassium nitrite, 5-7 parts of auxiliaries and an appropriate amount of water. The zirconium carbide serves as the main raw material of the ceramic material, and the prepared ceramic material has good high-temperature resisting performance, electric conduction performance and heat conducting performance, high mechanical strength and chemical stability; in addition, the fire resistance of the ceramic material is enhanced through the black corundum powder, the ferro-silicon nitride powder and the like; the abrasion resistance of the ceramic material is further improved through the tungsten powder, the stainless steel powder, the molybdenum disilicide, the auxiliaries and the like; and the quality of the product is guaranteed.
