The invention provides a preparation method of a kerb and an installation method thereof, and the preparation method comprises the steps of preparing materials: the materials comprise a base stock and a plus material; feeding the materials; stirring the base stock; stirring the plus material; stamping: performing cold pressing on the stirred base stock and the stirred plus material; molding: the base stock and the plus material subjected to the cold pressing are subjected to pre-vibration molding in a roadside stone mold by utilizing a forming machine. Moreover, the installation method of the kerb comprises the steps of constructing and shaping: setting side pilings, bracing wires among the side pilings as yardsticks; preparing a lower bearing layer: taking the wires as the yardsticks, making a concrete base according to the required breadth and thickness, paving mortar on the concrete base, and leveling by a scraper blade according to the virtual height; paving the kerb: paving according to the elevation of a pile line, tapping the center of the kerb by a wooden hammer, and the kerb is tiled on the mortar; pouring the back of the concrete base; jointing: adopting cement mortar with the ratio of 1 to 2, crack pouring, filling and flattening; adopting a wet process to maintain the kerb. The kerb prepared by the invention is easy to be processed, has high strength, good durability, the installation line is straight and the curve is round and continuous.
