Preparation method of mullite-fiber-reinforced fused quartz composite material
The invention relates to a preparation method of a fiber-reinforced fused quartz composite material, particularly a preparation method of a mullite-fiber-reinforced fused quartz composite material. The invention aims to solve the problems of high brittleness and high sensitivity to stress concentration and microcracks in the existing fused quartz composite material. The method comprises the following steps: 1. preparing fused quartz composite powder; 2. pretreating mullite fibers; 3. mixing the fused quartz composite powder slurry with the mullite fiber dispersion; 4. removing the solvent; 5. carrying out mold filling and formation; and 6. carrying out hot pressed sintering to obtain the mullite-fiber-reinforced fused quartz composite material. The bending strength of the mullite-fiber-reinforced fused quartz composite material is 23.3-27.4 MPa, and the fracture toughness is 0.8-1.1 MPa.m<1/2>. The preparation method can obtain the mullite-fiber-reinforced fused quartz composite material.
