The invention discloses an outer cover grid apparatus capable of automatically adjusting according to temperature. The apparatus comprises: a grid part composed of a plurality of grids; a driving device for driving the grid part to vertically move in order to change the opening and closing angles of the grids; a controller for generating a command to control the driving device in order to control the opening/closing of the grids; and a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature change of the water tank of an engine in order to output a temperature change signal and input the temperature change single to the controller. A coolant temperature sensor on the engine detects the temperature change and outputs an electric signal to the controller, and the controller generates the command for driving the grids to open and close and conveys the command to the driving device for executing the command. The driving device drives connecting rods arranged at two sides of the grids to move in order to make the grids open and close, so the air input is adjusted, the temperature of the engine is automatically adjusted, and thermal balance and temperature maintenance are rapidly achieved.
