The invention provides a modified structure of a building exterior wall, comprising packing strips, a framework and a reinforcing layer. One side of each packing strip is provided with an adhesive layer; each adhesive layer is adhered to the outer side of the wall; two ends of each adhered packing strip are fixed through packing strip screws; the framework made of steel bars or aluminum sections is provided outside the framework and is fixed to the wall through expansion bolts; the reinforcing layer is provided outside the framework; an interfacial agent layer is disposed on the surface of the reinforcing layer; a stone gluing layer is disposed on the surface of the stone back-glue layer; the back of stone is provided with bonding positions which are in concave-convex corrugation shapes; the stone is evenly adhered to the surface of the stone gluing layer through the bonding positions; space between two adjacent sides of the stone is filled with elastic caulking agent. The modified structure according to the scheme saves labor and materials, saves resources, prevents dust, is simple to construct and enables a longer life of a building.
