The invention discloses a climbing device for an electric power overhaul. The climbing device comprises a climbing mechanism. The climbing mechanism is composed of two parallel supporting columns and a plurality of beams arranged between the supporting columns. The supporting columns are at least provided with two fixing frames capable of vertically fixing the climbing mechanism. Each fixing frame comprises a connecting mechanism and a fixing mechanism. One end of each connecting mechanism is connected with the supporting column, and the other end of each connecting mechanism is connected with the corresponding fixing mechanism. An overhaul platform is arranged at the top end of the climbing mechanism. Anti-skid lines are arranged on the overhaul platform. A platform supporting device is arranged below the overhaul platform. According to the climbing device, using is easy and convenient, the overhaul support installation time is shortened in the overhaul process, worker labor consumption is reduced, meanwhile, the area to be overhauled can be overhauled comprehensively, and the overhaul working efficiency is greatly improved.
