The invention discloses a multistage climbing ladder used for electric power overhaul. The ladder comprises a ladder frame and a box. The ladder frame comprises two paralleled supporting arms and rungs vertically arranged between the supporting arms. A connecting hole is arranged on the top of each supporting arm, and a connecting shaft sleeved by the connecting hole is arranged on the bottom of each supporting arm. A fixed device vertically fixing the ladder frame on an electric pole is arranged on each supporting arm, and a supporting sliding block is axially arranged on each supporting arm. A supporting sliding chute matched with the supporting sliding block is arranged in the box, an elevating gear driving the box to move up and down on each supporting arm is arranged on one side outside of the box, and a brace is arranged on the other side of the box. The ladder is flexible and convenient when in use, is not affected by the landform, and can meet the demand of overhauling the electric poles with different heights.
