The invention discloses an optical illusion ladder. The optical illusion ladder comprises a left vertical rod, a right vertical rod and a plurality of crosspieces; the crosspieces are fixed between the left vertical rod and the right vertical rod and are parallel to one another; oblique stripes are arranged on the surface of each crosspiece; oblique directions of the oblique stripes on the surfaces of each two adjacent cross pieces are different; the oblique stripes on the surfaces of each two adjacent cross pieces are oblique stripes of which left portions are lower than right portions and oblique strips of which left portions are higher than right portions; and a length scaleplate for verifying whether the crosspieces are parallel to one another or not is arranged on the rod body of each vertical rod along the length direction of the vertical rod. The optical illusion ladder is simple in structure and convenient to operate; and demonstration and distinguishing of optical illusion are facilitated.
