Sediment transport device
The invention relates to a sediment transport device and belongs to the field of hydraulic engineering. According to the sediment transport device, a sediment trap is arranged on the whole front edge of a water inlet of a power station. A sediment transport gallery is arranged in front of the sediment trap and connected with a dam foundation sediment discharge tunnel. A horizontal joint sediment discharge opening is arranged in the top of the sediment transport gallery. The width of the horizontal joint sediment discharge opening gradually becomes smaller from the upstream part. The cross section of the sediment transport gallery gradually becomes larger from the upstream part. The sediment trap is used in cooperation with the widening and joint-narrowing type sediment transport gallery to achieve the function of a sediment stopping groove, a long-strip-shaped erosion funnel can be formed in front of the sediment trap, and the sediment discharge effect of removing sediment in front of the water inlet of the power station is truly achieved.
