Stemming for blast furnace hearth and preparation method thereof
The invention relates to a refractory material and especially relates to stemming for a blast furnace hearth and a preparation method thereof. The stemming comprises super-grade bauxite, brown fused alumina with particle size of 1-3mm, brown fused alumina with particle size less than 1mm, silicon carbide micro-powder, powdered coke, silicon carbide powder, clay with particle size of 120 meshes, sericite powder, kaolin with particle size of 1-3mm, titanium dioxide with particle size of 120 meshes, silicon nitride powder, silicon nitride-iron powder, titanium carbide and phenolic resin. Titanium is deposited and enriched in a severely eroded zone which is a hearth wall in an iron mouth area so that the hearth in the iron mouth area is protected and local abnormal erosion is avoided.
