A method of preparing a special sulfate cementing material through treatment on electrolytic manganese residues in a fluidized bed boiler includes the following steps: 1) material preparation: metering and preparing following raw materials comprising, by weight, 45-80 parts of the electrolytic manganese residues, 8-25 parts of stone coal and 10-45 parts of waste stone residue; (2) preparation of matured slag: continuously feeding the weighed and prepared raw materials into the fluidized bed boiler, roasting the raw materials under an oxidizing atmosphere at 800-1280 DEG C for 0.3-1.5 h with overflow rapid-cooling at a material outlet to obtain the matured slag; and (3) preparation of the special sulfate cementing material: grinding the matured slag until sieve residue mass of the matured slag is not more than 20% through a 80 [mu]m sieve to obtain the special sulfate cementing material. According to the method, the special sulfate cementing material contains various hydrated active minerals, so that the material can be widely used in cement industry, is high in strength during use, and has an excellent strength when being used as activated slag powder or for producing building materials. The method is less in investment, is free of waste water and waste residue and is good in economy.
