A dicyclopentadiene modified epoxy asphalt mixture is composed of 2-8 parts by mass of dicyclopentadiene modified epoxy asphalt and 92-98 parts by mass of mineral aggregate, wherein the dicyclopentadiene modified epoxy asphalt includes three components A, B, C, A is 100 parts of dicyclopentadiene modified epoxy resin, B includes 70-150 parts of curing agents, and 0-0.02 parts of accelerants; C is 50-200 parts of asphalt. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the dicyclopentadiene modified epoxy asphalt mixture which is suitable for paving and repairing steel bridge floor, cement concrete bridge floor, and asphalt roadsurface, and can be used in special segment such as crossing, stop, etc.
