Method used for producing stone-like ceramic tiles from rare-earth tailing
The invention relates to a method used for producing stone-like ceramic tiles from rare-earth tailing. The method comprises conventional steps of powder preparing, pelleting, green brick pressing, drying, and kilning; a special slurry used for powder preparing comprises, by weight, 50 to 60% of rare-earth tailing, 20 to 25% of mud, 15 to 25% of low temperature sand, and 2 to 5% of aedelforsite, and in addition, 2 to 5% of bauxite, 0.2 to 0.3% of sodium silicate, 0.15 to 0.25% of a water reducing agent, and 0.05 to 0.1% of sodium tripolyphosphate are added; an obtained material is subjected to water ball milling at a ratio of ball milling stone: the material: water of 2:1:0.5. According to the method, a large amount of waste rare-earth tailing which are capable of polluting the environment and possesses excellent color development effect is used for producing stone-like large-particle ceramic tiles with abundant and unique effects; high quality is achieved, cost is low, and benefit is high; and the method is capable of reducing cost and optimizing the environment.
